The building made out of cement and wood was quite unique and beautiful, I liked a lot of details of the building at the first sight. A small ship was hang from the cieling

The walls date back to the 13th century and the structure dates to the 15th century. It sits atop the hill and is visible from most parts of Old Town and from across the river. It became a Cathedral in 1723. It was destroyed by the Danish and Russian forces during historic conflicts and more recently by arson in 2006.... More

This church is worth visiting, especially if you are interested in unique architecture. Architecture in Scandinavia is refreshingly different from that found in other parts of Europe.

A beautiful church which apparently has burnt down a few times over the years (the most recent time in 2006 a teenager set fire to it and it took a few years and a lot of money to rebuild.) About 500 years old protestant stone church. Some nice paintings and pulpit. Relaxing feeling and enviroment.

As X-mas is comming, this is a superb place to have the x-mas messe at night Its very beautyfull at night, with all the lights, and if your lucky even with some white snow From inside very warm athmosphäre..
