Onyx cave is a little gem right outside of town. It's a bit of an odd road to get there, passing some run down aircraft and eventually driving on a 1 lane road. I'd say the cave was a bit smaller than I expected, but the tour was great. You get a headset that leads you through the history and... More

If you are visiting Eureka Springs, you should go see this cave. It is cute and the kids enjoyed it.

Was very interesting and educational. Had some interesting items for sale in the gift shop area. Worth a visit.

It was just a small drive out of town and I think it was less than 10$ a person. The cave entrance is at the back of a little house thatbis used as a gift shop. There is also a free museum but it was closed when we went. There inside of the cave is much larger than I expected... More

This is a self guided tour walking tour. You receive head phones, when you start you push a green button and learn about that section. You do that for each section. This can be a fun family activity.

This is a self-guided cave tour with headphones. The sites within the cave are awesome. The staff in the gift shop/entrance are friendly and helpful.

An interesting self guided tour. We were provided headsets that allowed us to go at our own pace and listen to the interesting bits of history about the cavern without the hustle of being in a group. Complete with a nice gift shop for bringing inexpensive gifts home for the kids or friends.

My wife and I had no plans of visiting Onyx but a sign out on the main road advertising for the cave caught our attention and we decided to follow it. This in itself was a bit of an adventure, the road twists and turns and is narrow. Just when you think you are going the wrong way another sign... More

If you're looking for something that's long enough to be worth the time but short enough to keep smaller kids interested, this is it! Takes about half an hour to walk through with a self guided tour with headphones.
