Great Passion Play theme park offers this massive attraction 24/7 free to all. We also saw the slab of the Berlin Wall and a replica of the Liberty Bell along the road. The creator and his wife, who are buried within the shadow cast by their mighty Messiah. The statue is nearly 70 feet tall and overlooks Eureka Springs with... More

Just to see this statue in the distance is something else, but to stand beneath it, we'll, that is when you realize just how big it really is.

Just by chance, I happened to see the "Christ of the Ozarks" head peeking out across the valley. Ventured over to have a closer look and discovered an amazing place. Bible Museum. So many religions represented. It was beautiful.

The statue is a bit odd looking, but a great place to swing by and view if in Eureka Springs for the day or weekend. There is a nice lookout, plenty of photo opportunities, and a bit of history on site near the statue. In the gift shop, there is also a Bible museum that is really impressive. Bibles from... More

I am not particularly religious and had no interest in going here but my partner insisted we not miss this piece of Americana. From the pictures, I had found the statue unattractive. It is not quite as bad in person. You can take some good photos in front of it. You see it from many vantages in Eureka Springs so... More

When you are here you could feel though He is calling you come near and embrace me. There are also other religious activities in this place although we did not have much time to stay longer.

I'm in the dilemma of being both a practicing Christian and a former university art history instructor. I'd like to praise all Christian art but, frankly, some is of low quality and this is an example. My brother accurately refers to it as resembling "a puppet on a milk carton." This Christ depiction is stern, stiff, and lifeless.
