Tiny St Elizabeth of Hungary nestles like a birds nest on a cliff just below the Crescent Hotel. Built in the early 20th century it is home to a small Catholic parish and offers a regular schedule of Masses. Especially interesting are the stained glass...More

This small Catholic church built in stone has one important claim to fame... it's claimed to be the only church in the world that is entered through its bell tower. And this is true though in all honesty said bell tower is not exactly attached...More

Saint Elizabeth's is unique church once in Ripley's Believe it or not. You enter thru the bell tower at street level.

We took the tram tour around town and it stops at the Crescent hotel which is just up the hill from the hotel so the tram guide suggested a walk down to it. It's a pretty little place to stop in for a look around...More

St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church is a must see. Do yourself a favor, stop and drop a knee in prayer at St. Elizabeth's, it's a life changer.

Like almost every building in Eureka, St. Elizabeth's seems to cling to the hillside and yet is very sturdily and beautifully built. The Catholic or non-Catholic will enjoy the peace and grace of this old church, entered through the bell tower. The walk down to...More

We first saw the church from the outside at dusk. We took many pictures trying to capture the beauty of this old church. The dome is magnificent!

Take the time to wander the grounds. Sit inside the church and spend time with God. The gift shop is charming

Hello! I'm not sure... seems like it would be open... if not, the grounds are beautiful. Go anyway.
