We didn't take the dining car we just took an Excursion train and let me tell you it was such a fun trip. It is a 4 and 1/2 mile trip and the conductor is one of the most knowledgeable men I have ever met....More

Step back in time, on a wonderfully restored dining car. The inside is decorated in period decor. We went on the dinner train, and are very happy we did. The train does not go on a long distance, but travels slow, while you eat most...More

We took the lunch train. Very interesting setting of an old fashioned dining car. It was fun to eat lunch while watching the scenery outside the window. This is a fairly short trip but was worth the time. If you don’t do lunch just take...More

Highly recommend the lunch or dinner train. The chicken salad is to die for. The staff are wonderful.

I hope someone brings this place back to life. It is quite rundown compared to the 1980s. We missed the train ride for the day but went around the grounds. Check the website in advance, they don’t offer many rides. Friendly people, place needs TLC.

This was awesome! We took the lunch train, it was just enough time to enjoy ourselves without being too long. The food was good, the coffee was great, friendly staff. It’s a simple surprise!

We had lunch on the train and thoroughly enjoyed the ride and meal. About an hour's ride on the train. The servers were very attentive to our needs and friendly.

This is a fun/interesting excursion. The conductor narrates the ride out with many interesting facts and quips about the area. The scenery is wonderful. It was fun to watch the engine flatten our pennies! Even if you don't ride the train, be sure to go...More

On a recent trip to Eureka Springs with my son and DIL, it was suggested that we do this railway dinner excursion. At first, I wasn’t sure about this....but after boarding.... my “thoughts of doubt” were changed almost immediately! It was so peaceful and relaxing,...More

I really don't remember the cost of the very short train ride but it was more than the ride was worth. There are no accommodations for any handicapped folks that I recall. Basically the ride was really forgettable.

The train operates April thru October. Since the winter months are not that active in this area, a lot of attractions close by the first of November.
