We loved this beach. The sand is not too fine so it doesn't get everywhere, but doesn't hurt like pebbles. The ocean is very calm in the mornings and gets deep relatively quickly. We came here directly after Cyclone Zorba (late September 2018) hit so...More

A beautiful beach very close to town with many nice beach bars and taverns. The beach is a few km long so you can find anything from a quiet, lonely spot to a crowded beach bar. Wind and kite surfing is also offered.

Great place to stop for a swim. We came here after a great lunch in Gythio. We had our own towels and umbrella, great views.

We went there after Valtaki so getting to a pebble stone beach, although it has plenty of umbrellas you can use and only pay what they bring you to drink (not very expensive by the way), the beach has nothing special. It’s oriented south, so...More

It is a long sandy beach. Almost no constructions are around. There were not many people. Hammocks are available. There is no fee for using them, you just pay for the drinks (and prices are reasonable)
