Visited today and met the owner who is also an incredibly talented artist. Couldn’t believe how incredible her artwork for sale is. Have spent the last few days visiting the monasteries and fallen in love with all the art on the walls there. Her art work took my breath away also. Wow. Definitely worth a visit and if you can a purchase. I bought a gorgeous ring today by the jewellery artist Tony. It’s such a great shop with such lovely things. And the owner is an exceptionally lovely lady also.

Vana is a living legend painter of holy icons. In strokes of paint and real gold sheet she 'writes' the images of the Saints with exquisite vividness of spirit. You see the light of their soul through her work much like Vana's own soul shines so brightly to any visitor.
