There were no guides (with no reduction in price) the day we stopped and the "well" part of the exhibit was closed for construction. That said, we still learned a lot from the videos ( watch them all) and the exhibits and we could see...More

For those of us interested in such it explains it great. The kids will probably be bored but you will walk away understanding Geo thermal and having enjoyed yourself. I found it really cool.

There's a nice tour and display of how the geothermal system works for Iceland. It would be better if there were more on-hands displays and educational programs as there seems to be a lot of good info, but there's not much for school groups to...More

The tour is very informative and I was impressed with the guides. It was a bit hard to hear and there were a LOT of people.

Something different. A good place to spend an hour. Couple of good video presentations explaining the theory behind the science & the geology of Iceland. We were unable to do guided tour as there was a visitation. Should make it even better.

This was an educational presentation and tour that addresses how geothermal energy works and how this plant was built. This plant sits on top of an active volcano called Hengell. It provides heat and electricity for Reykjavik.

On a very wet day, we decided to make the Golden Circle tour anti clockwise, and this was our first stop at 9am. An excellent tour, beautifully annotated and enthusiastically presented by Rebecca. Thoroughly enjoyable and very informative. Highly recommended as it sets the scene...More
