About Ballycotton Island Lighthouse Tours
45 minutes from Cork city and you will be transported on an exclusive historical natural visitor experience. Great trip today out to Ballycotton Island Lighthouse by boat from the pier in Ballycotton. Hazel our guide was great company, very informative and passionate about the lighthouse and its history. My family really enjoyed the trip and even though it was foggy today the views from the island were amazing. Some friendly seals even visited us at the dock on the island. Highly recommended trip for anyone visiting east Cork.

We went on this fabulous tour today (with my 92 year old mum). Derry was an excellent guide and also a wonderful character. Includes everyone and is a master narrator - the staff are super helpful and ensure we are all harnessed with life jackets. 10*** experience ... not to be missed ! 💫

Such a beautiful trip with an amazing tour from John who was so amazingly passionate it brought the whole lighthouse and village of Ballycotton to life. Myself and my boyfriend were equally impressed with the knowledge and passion that came through from all of John’s stories. I would urge anyone around Cork not to miss this experience - I will recommend to anyone coming down that direction. 2 things to note: please get here early enough to park as there are not many spots about and also make sure to use the bathroom before getting on the boat!
