We stopped in for lunch at Slane Castle after the tour of the adjacent distillery and were blown away by the quality of the food! The atmosphere was lovely; the snug in particular is very quaint and cosy, and the decor of the castle interior...More

Brownes Bar for lunch is lovely! It can be quite full but on the two occasions we got seated quickly. The menu is fairly limited but it’s really nice food and reasonably priced. I’d recommend the fish smokie dish or the chicken wings. They have...More

Good menu and food was very nice. Suitable for families. There's also a restaurant and we will try there next time!

We went to Browne bar today for lunch. The food was good but portions not very large. The room was very cold, must people around had left there coats on while they waiting for the food to come.

A well kept castle with yet another cafe. We traveled here to take photographs so it was prefect for us. If using a GPS to travel there, beware that the entrance has been moved down the road so don't give up, just ride a bit...More

The tour of Slane Castle was an excellent way to spend an hour or so. The rooms are all interesting, especially the George IV room. A special mention must be made of our guide, Diana who was informative, personable and witty throughout. She really made...More
