We visited this cave in the mid of the day in summer. We were only persons in this cave, so we could enjoy the silence. Take a warm clothes when you are going there. And be aware of slippery steps.

Very nice experience! Very interesting place in the midlle of forest/mountain. Good route until there, and spectacular monument of nature. The ice from the cave is very interesting. Unfortunely, is not possible to visit more from the Ice Cave. recomended!

Even if this cave is not so spectacular because there are no stalagmites and stalactites, it hosts the largest underground ice glacier in Europe. You may see a wonderful "shrine" made of ice. The cave entrance is also very interesting.

The good thing is that there is asphalt up near the cave, you climb through the gorge Ordancusei, where the scenery is wonderful. Rent a car in Oradea and Cluj and enjoy the accessible caves in Apuseni.
