Beautiful!

We only stopped in for a few minutes as there were people actively worshipping. Worth checking out if you are in the area, very beautiful.

Very beautiful monastery in this nice place. The interesting is the best cold and curative water in the courtyard and 12 monks who lives there.

We passed by here while hiking up to Peles Castle. It looked beautiful from outside and we also took a look inside at the courtyard. Next time I will definitely stop in to explore more!

First this is a functioning monastery. You must see the original church. The iconology is beautiful. Micheal our guide (romaniatourstore.com) helped understand much about the churches and monastery. They do allow pictures in the original church not the new since the new one is functional.

Typically orthodox church, still peaceful and beautiful. Place were you can witness some local people praying and maybe some of their traditions if it is holiday.

One of the most beautiful monasteries in Romania. Amazing. Be sure to visit both - old and new monastery.

At the bottom of the hill below Peles Castle is this beautiful small monastery. Hope this will give you a taste of what is in store. The paintings are so wonderful. Local painter was present when we were there. Explained about paintings. So pretty.

Make it obligatory - when you are walking up from Sinaia to Peles Castle. The entrance fee is really low. I've been there several times - but I always visit it while being in Sinaia.

Sinaia is a gem, a really beatiful and peaceful place. It is a huge complex and the guided tour was really excellent. The grounds of the monastery and the forests are really picturesque and serene abd the monastery itself is beguiling. I'm not sure how much information you would get without a tour but there'd be no mistaking the peace... More

We visited the Monastery after a busy morning and it was lovely to spend some time in such a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. There is a Church located in the main square and a pathway leads to the Monastery and smaller Church. The cells are whitewashed and the gardens are decorated with flowers. It is a lovely setting. There are... More
