We came here to sunbath and was totally blown away at how clean and tidy the beach was. Very picturesque views of Gibraltar, from this quiet little cove. Although a Locals beach, the people were very friendly, and there is a good selection of bars/restaurants...More

A little way out the port city this authentic "village" has a very pleasant (if not exactly picturesque) site for an afternoon at the beach. The experience will be greatly enhanced if you try the local bars where the (sea) food is fresh and simply,...More

Went there for the day whilst staying in Algeciras, Reina Cristina Hotel. Cost 5 Euros in taxi. Lovely beach and nice cafe / bars on beach front.

This is a nice beach but can be very windy and large waves. There are a lot of Spanish locals so it feels more authentic than beaches on the Costa Del Sol. There are seasonal restaurants for seafood and tapas

This is an incredibly clean beach with lots of sand and calm waters. We had no issue finding a quiet space on the beach and there are lots of Helados Artesanales too! (Could not find any toilets apart from in the eating places).

When I was last there in 1961 there was just one rather exclusive hotel.......now it's hidden behind a massive housing estate. Seems a very safe beach good for families with shallow water going out quite a long way. Stones at the water's edge at some...More

This beach is about 6 km from Algeciras and has beautiful clean sand. View is beautiful as bay looks across at Gibraltar and although a lot of ships pass, they are quite far away and are no problem at all. Very long and plenty room...More

Beautiful clean beach with views of Gibraltar. Cafes and shops. Gentle slope into the sea so generally safe for swimming. Popular with locals.
