We just finished our second trip on the RENFE trains-the first from Madrid to Valencia, the second from Valencia to Cartagena (with an easy change at Albacete). The booking process was easy to do on line (and we don't speak Spanish). The car and your...More

My 13 year old son and me traveled from Madrid to Barcelona. After waiting in a long line to board the train we finally got the access to the platform. The boarding and the train was delayed so everybody was in hurry. After finding our...More

We took overnight trains, fast trains, lots of trains during our Spain adventure. It was great. Sometimes the trains had buskers. Some bad, some fair, some good, some great. But they disturbed the monotony and added artistic joy to our journeys

We got a day return from Algeciras to Ronda on the train. It takes about the same time as the drive and it is a lot prettier and more relaxing. The trains we took have us about 4 hours in Ronda which is about right...More

Great and cheap. On time and well worth it even with luggage and family. From Malaga airport you do have to go outside but you're on the same level as the ticket office. Only €1.80 adult single to torremolinos. See the website for all zone...More

This has to be the worst service I've ever experienced while travelling. We lost our stop in Valdepeñas because the door closed to early. I found some staff and was met with lies from them saying "tranquilo" and that we'll get another train to go...More

Yes you can buy on arrival. There are machines that use cash and card. I would have the Euro cash ready in case a machine is out of order. There may also be an attendant around at the time you arrive.
