Worth visiting and going inside the Dolmens and wonder, why were they built many years ago, what was they used for?

I really didn’t expect to be wowed by the dolmens in southern Spain but they were as cool as the ones in Newgrange in Ireland. They were just much less crowded

Situated on the way out of Antequera with ample parking. First vist visit the reception area and watch the ten minute film which shows how it is believed the site was constructed and the way that the huge stone blocks were put into place. This...More

Very clean and Many toilets. 👍🏻👍🏻. The site itselve is Nice, the Graves are impressive and the information office gives additional information.

One of the largest known ancient megalithic structures in Europe, just on the outskirts of Antequera. Car parking & toilets. Worth a visit - doesn't take long to explore...

For us, seeing these well-preserved burial chambers was fascinating but we are interested in ancient history. Others may not find them so interesting. There is a big new visitor centre where they show an introductory film in different languages, a small shop and clean toilets....More

Spectacular burial mound from the Neolithic age. Make sure you watch the video on the construction technique before you see the Menga.

Interesting & unusual with a video presentation that is a must to do 1st before entering the different structures,so you better appreciate the work involved in its building.

Just outside of the cit proper (walkable) are two dolmens on a hill. The Visitors Center has a great video explaining their importance and construction. They are not much to see per se, but the way they were built and their age are truly impressive....More
