A very interesting museo that tells you about the history of this place from when it began to the pesent day. Including showing a short film about what happened even the earthquake in the early 1500s.

The museum, free on Tuesdays as we found out, gives an overview of the history of the city and has some nice roman mosaics. If short on time, I would skip it for a walk through town.

As other reviewers have said, this is a relatively small museum but there is enough of interest to make an enjoyable visit. Although we did not eat here, the cafe has a good selection of varied dishes on offer. Admission is still free.

We happened across this by accident. It is lodged in an ex palace in a site street. Entrance is free. It has local finds, particularly from the Roman era and there is a pleasant courtyard. It also has a cafe.

We found the museum by accident and were pleasantly surprised. It is not very big but there are interesting artifacts from the town's long history. Especially interesting were the roman mosaics, some of which are in very good condition. Worth a visit.

I think some of the reviews are a bit unfair. This is an interesting museum to while away an hour or so. It tells, quite well, this small town's quite amazing history. There are some lovely artefacts and it's well set out. Some of the...More

They have remains of the roman tiles they have unearthed, as this was a very important roman city, as well as arab, visigoth, and what have you. Really impressive.
