Recently visited the castle with two children it is a steep walk up however worth it for the view. Only critism is the castle was closed for two months due to some music festival which was disappointing

Stip climb uphill just to get there and enjoy the view, as notes around the place say it’ll stay closed until September... a bit of a waste considering that summer is when there are more tourists around... The walk up and around is pram friendly...More

We checked the website for the Castle and it said it was open, so we travelled there to find it was closed! very irritating.

A very interesting castle. On this particular occasion couldn't go inside as other things were going on. Parakeets were flying round and the views were great.

Second visit to this castle and once again closed.. Note on door with apologetic note stating closed from June to September due to evening shows and the castle being used for storage.. shame the Website was not so informative. Won't revisit

One of my favourite places to go while I'm in Fuengirola, I walk to the castle every morning and it's great to see that the surrounding areas are so well cared for... Lots of concerts take place also, but during the day it's nice too...More

The view is worth the climb. Castle it self was closed and looks like it stays that way this summer. Really nice view tho. Not that far from parking space. Parking was 1€

Surely it must be more cost effective to have one person collecting entry fees of a couple of euros per person than to have it closed all the time. Getting fed up of taking my family up there to find its still shut to visitors

I went during the day. But the sun sets behind the mountains behind Sohail castle. and that's worth watching.
