I spent a few hours here one evening during my time in Jaen. It's open late and is free entry for students, so it was the perfect adventure for a stormy Friday night. The museum is organised chronologically according to the history of Jaen, beginning...More

Great museum, free for EU passport holders. Archaeology section is very well represented. Also interesting paintings by not so 'world famous' artists.

As well as being an insight into the history of Jaen (which is interesting indeed) there's an impressive art gallery on the first floor. Free of charge to EU citizens too

Spent several hours in the archaeological section of the museum - the fine arts section on the upper floor of the museum is worth a miss.
