My wife and I stayed in a Villa right at the top of the hill in Punta Lara... Plaza Cadiz. The villa had wonderful views from the roof terrace towards the mountains sea and to Nerja. I wouldn't suggest that this would be a great place if you had difficulty with walking especially steps. It made no difference to us,... More

We stayed in a two bed-roomed casa in Punto Lara, called Casa Reina, managed by a lovely man called Joe Chadwick. We arrived after 10 pm and Joe met us at the house. The urbanisation has a lovely range of different houses and apartments and is very quiet and peaceful. The casa was lovely, with two nice large bedrooms, spacious... More

This was our first Villa holiday, we rented from Villa Plus and the villa was located in Punta Lara. Which is an urban zone for residental living. It is a long walk to center of Nerja, either by beach or main road. Good footpath on one side only. For convenience there are several restaurants within a short walk and a... More

Punta Lara is hardly an attraction that will keep you busy all day but it's a residential area of Nerja that is very typical of modern spain at its finest. The properties are very pretty with well kept terraces. At the top of the hill is a lovely bar with lots of Brits. They have a great quiz night once... More

This pretty urbanisation has a mixture of houses from large villas to low rise apartments. It is near the beach and the Hotel Marinas de Nerja. There are several communal pool areas though most villas have private pools. There are several bars and English is widely spoken

This is an urbanisation about 30 minutes walk into Nerja. It is hilly and has a couple of bars with communal swimming pools for residents. The bar we used sold good priced, delicious food and sports games. The area I'd densely populated and has a quiet feel. The local beach is 5-10 minutes away but this a sharp sand/ stony... More

Drove by here. It's really not very interesting. So, why is everyone writing about it? Some write about a place, some about a place to stay, some about food. Get real. This is really a development that's all.
