Currently the path is closed due to a rock fall some while back. Before that occurrence it was posssible to walk along the cliff from behind Playa Calahonda along to Playa Burriana and no doubt a pleasant stroll as well as being a quicker route...More

You can see the remnants of this walkway which in its day would have been an unmissable activity, especially with the waves crashing. However we could only find short sections we could access.

Surely it was a nice path, but if in winter the sea had more heavy wawes, there are instability of the rocks and they fall down, and so it's now a dangerous passage for a walk; In the futur time it should be repaired if...More

The path is blocked off and dangerous due to rock instability.People do try it but it is not advised or encouraged.

We have been to Nerja a number of times & it is a pity the walk under the cliffs is now in a bad way. Hopefully the can repair it & get it up & running.

due to a chance of falling rocks the path is closed but a nice walk is still possible on the sand and gravel of the small beaches starting at playa papagayo east of balcon de europa towards the smaller eastern beaches and coves.

Tried to walk to burriana beach from balcon side, but singage tells you its dangerous to do so, also tried from beach side managed a shortway but had to return, shame as would have been a luvly walk
