A nice long beach with plenty of sun beds, play areas and restaurants. Looks clean and well kept. Facing south

Stopped here for an hour or so on a rainy day in March. Nice area, clean, tidy & friendly. Decent little Cafés down on the Beach front. Going to the Beach is not usually the thing to do on a rainy day, but we enjoyed it!

Lots of restaurants and bars to visit. A bit commercial but fun! Cool to see the famous paella being made on the beach and fish grilled on the stakes. We were lucky enough to catch a flamenco dancer in one of the restaurants which was a highlight.

Beautiful beach with restaurants and cafes the beach is at the bottom of a very steep hill and this is the downside to it as the walk back up is very steep however most people including us just take a rest half way and admire the views while you catch your breath.

A great spot for sunbathing and swimming. Plenty of bars and restaurants. An easy walk down the hill to get there but be aware the walk back up requires good lungs and strong legs. Buses do not run up and down so the only alternative is a taxi. If you take a car parking is very limited.

The beach is a mixture of sand and small white pebbles. It is only 6.50 euros to hire a pair of sunbeds complete with thick mattresses. There are plenty of eateries just behind the beach and on the roadside.

We had an appartment here for 3 weeks and enjoyed walking along the beach front. On the weekends it is very busy with locals as well as tourists from all over Europe. Many are visiting for a long stay to escape a colder climate at home(like us) and there are lots of restaurants and bars to serve the need of... More

We stayed at the Parador hotel for one night, and popped down to the beach as it's a lovely place for a stroll when staying in Nerja. We had breakfast at 9am at the Playa Darla restaurant. They served us tea in lovely pots and two full English breakfasts for €15. I was really pleased with that as the hotel... More
