This is maybe the most beautiful beach in Spain, really wide, it is crossed by a small river, the sand is white and soft. It is a bit windy but the view is just amazing. It is a wild beach, even in the winter is a lovely place to visit.

Semi-wild area with almost not construction around. Awesome views to Africa with good weather. Very interesting Roman ruins and of course a must is to climb up the dune and jump from the other side.

This beach is popular with Kite surfers but the Roman ruins are well worth seeing. The Romans built a fort here to defend their territory against any invading moors.

One of those places that you see & fall instantly in love with. We pulled up and saw an old 70's VW camper, wooden surf boards propped up by it, two guys that looked like they'd been at the same chiringuito since the van was brand new and a horse tied up by the bar. Nothing else! No noise, no... More

Despite 50 km/h wind we had a great afternoon! Climb the dune, the view is overwelming ! It was too windy to swim, but kids had great time building sand castles.

Me and another 16yo Swiss birder heard that the bushes near the dune in Bolonia holds Chameleons. At last after long searching we luckily found one! Very cool animal. Samuel Büttler, Basel, Switzerland

Fantastic Roman archeological site. This is a well preserved site and a must see on Spain's Atlantic coast.

A little bit far from the city centre but it must a visit. Amazing view, sandy beach, beautiful dunas. One of the most beautiful beaches in Tarifa.

There was no wind so we went exploring and took some fabulous photos. This would be an ideal place to have a romantic picnic. One morning very early I hired a horse trail which was really good, it was great seeing everything from a different prospective, you get to go places where people generally don't go. Most of the architecture... More
