Just 55 minutes away from Barcelona's central train station, this town is a fun get away. The Dali museum is more than I expected. It's fun and quirky and leaves you wanting to learn more about Dali as a person. He designed the museum and lived in this house. He is even buried there. It takes about 2 hours to... More

For the admission price of 14 Euros (adult) you can also visit, free of charge, the Emporda Museum at the bottom of the Rambla, and receive a 30% discount to visit the Toy Museum of Catalonia ("Museu Joguet de Catalunya"). Unless you're in a group you will have to queue in the small plaza outside the Museum but you can... More

Our group of 40 boys thoroughly enjoyed the variety of exhibit on offer in the Dali museum. It is wonderful to see pupils recognising art they have seen on television or in books. Invariably you will visit in the sunshine. It was busy, but you do need time to look around.

14 euro entry but worth every euro cent! Some great works here by the great artist along with a photo exposé of his famous moustache in Room 20. Allow 2 to 3 hours for the visit. A fitting example of his work and a must see for his many fans. 1709.

One of the most unique and interesting museums I have visited. The artwork is completely unreal! This is a great place to visit with your family. If you arrive before opening time the crowd is small.

I definitely recommend a visit to "Dalí Theatre-Museum". Not only the exhibits are interesting and eye-catching but the whole atmosphere and architecture of the museum is suited to the artist as it is designed by himself!

The museum is really nice and with many of Dalis paintings... but the amount of people and the way they behave spoils it all. people just go with their phones, taking pictures and not looking at anything,, we spent 2 hours trying not to step on each other toes, waiting for people to take the picture and basically you can... This was a fairly easy day-trip from Barcelona by train. If you're any kind of Dalí fan - this is a must-see! It's so interesting and like no other place you've been. It is a fascinating collection and look at the life of Salvador Dali and his wife Gala. I love that a handful of the exhibits have an interactive... More

As there is so much to see, we took advantage of a tour group that helped us with entrance and background information, and then we got to explore the museum. WOW is about all I say. An amazing artist. Definitely worth a visit!! Also be sure to check out the Dali "Jewel" museum on the corner -- it's about a... More

I have been interested in Dali for a number of years but until visiting this museum never appreciated his other talents for sculpture, jewellery, and especially optics and physics. His knowledge of pixels and optics enabled him to change a close up painting of his partner Gala looking out a window to a portrait of Abraham Lincoln when viewed from... More
