About
Voted Best Antiques Centre in the UK by the BBC Homes & Antiques Magazine. Named in the Top 50 Antiques Shop. Hungerford Arcade has everything for the pocket money collector to the big lottery winner. The beautiful building dates back hundreds of years and has a fantastic history. The Arcade is a joy to enter and you will be amazed when you see all the little shops, nooks and crannies. We have regular customers who visit us from around the world. Some land at Heathrow and get a taxi directly to the Arcade. The average person spends 2.5 hours here and love every second. There is also Rafters Cafe (which is actually in the rafters at the top of the building) where you can enjoy teas, coffees, breakfast, lunches, snacks and handmade cakes etc. You can relax and take a break. Everyone receives a very warm welcome when they enter the Arcade and you can browse until your heart's content in a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. No-one will bother you, but if you need help - just ask

Hungerford is well known for it's antique and collectables shops and one of the best known is the Hungerford Arcade that was established almost 50 years ago in 1972. With over 100 dealers under one roof it has been awarded the title of Britain's Best Antiques Centre. You can spend a fortune in here or some loose change from your pocket, it has some really interesting pieces. Not that much in the way of large pieces of furniture, it is more of a centre for collectables. Quite a bit of military pieces and there is a cafe here too. Some outside 'garden' antiques also can be found. If you like poking around an antiques centre you'd love it here.

Anything and everything here - from a few pounds to over a thousand - prices are negotiable - we came in to warm up and ending up shedding several pounds in money not weight unfortunately!

Have been recommended this place from someone. There is a lot of antiques to see, everything is nice and clean and the place is massive. Can easily spend a lot of time there

Really enjoyed walking around this little antiques arcade so many lovely trinkets to purchase and to view.

We had a bite to eat in cafe upstairs just a soup and sandwich but hit the spot and not pricey

In the centreof Hungerford near some delightful coffee shops.

However, some sections of the Arcade are cluttered, just waiting for someone to trip up. Generally overpriced.

Lots of different things to see. Lots of pottery, glass, jewellery etc. Nice place to find something a bit different. Upstairs is a lovely little cafe with homemade cakes

We went to Hungerford recently to give the car a run and ended up walking round the Hungerford Arcade Antiques and Collectables. It is worth a walk around and you never know you may spot something you like. They also have a lovey cozy cafe up on the 1st floor. Not very big, there is only about six tables of four up there in what I'd call the attic. The food is all homemade and the scones melt in the mouth. Cream tea for one about £5.95. Would not recommend for small children as stated it is small and near the stairs. BUT YOU CAN TAKE YOUR DOGS IN THE SHOP AND IN THE CAFE. Another one we clocked up. Also lovely to walk along the river when not raining.
