Short walk from town centre through the churchyard. It can also be part of a lovely riverside walk from Devil Bridge to the Kirkby Lonsdale centre.

A lovely view which you reach by walking through the Church grounds. We then walked down the steps and followed the river to Devil's Bridge.

Beautiful view!! There are a few benches to sit and appropriate the stunning countryside. You can also access the river by the 86 steps for a walk which will take you to the famous Devils Bridge.

Stunning walk not far from the town. If you go down the steps make sure you have the energy and stamina to get back up or return to the town along the river edge!

J.W.M. Turner was not wrong when he painted the view from this place. It is quintessential England. The views across the River Lune and hills are truly magical.

Wandered over after eating in the Sun Inn. Viewpoint was very quiet - only a couple of dog walkers about. Can't believe how parched the grass was across the river.
