Had a good time at the jousting event, which was thoroughly enjoyed by us and the grand-children. We took a picnic as we knew no drinks would be available on-site. This just added to the occasion. The castle is worth a visit but not a lot...More

A very historical and informative place for people interested in history. It's a square-shaped castle which dates back to the 11th Century. There's also ruins of an old Norman church on the grounds. Admission is fairly cheap and the staff are nice. Although we were...More

Had a lovely trip here, fun and informative. Only down side was been unable to buy a drink onsite and the cafe down the road was less than ideal.

Impressive castle in still quite good condition for its age. You can happily spend an hour here. Worth popping into the village after as it's cute and they have a nice tea room there.

Lovely place especially as there was an event on due to bank holiday. A little disappointed that as English heritage members still had to pay, only reason for visiting as on way to Sandringham but well worth a stop off

This was a favourite place during my childhood. Being told the tale of Queen Isabella escaping via a tunnel to Red Mount in King's Lynn. I beleived it. We've visited and picniced with our children and grandchildren. who enjoy the freedom to run round.

This is a great place to visit. We went with 4 children ranging from 4-15 and all had a good time. We paid for the audio commentary which was only a £1 extra which was worth it. The only thing it needs though is a...More
