If you're looking for miles of stunningly untouched sandy beach for a walk then look no further. This is my favourite Norfolk beach - pine trees, sand dunes, clean golden sand. You can walk for miles. Make sure you go to the loo before setting off as there are no facilities once you're down on the beach! If you remember... More

You will really struggle to find a better beach. Fantastic for families, dogs, and horses! Miles of sandy beach and a nice gently shelving sea shore. Absolutely love it here

Went here with my wife on a sunny march morning and just walked along the beach-stunning The advert says " where the sea meets the sky " and that is so true

This was our first visit to Holkham beach, we had been told it was lovely but it is just spectacular with miles of sand. The beach is approached through a walkway of pine trees, you then walk across some scrub land and some dunes and are then faced with the most amazing stretch of sand as far as you can... More

Although it was a damp March morning, we took a walk to Holkham beach and it was still stunning. Such a joy to be here

We were staying in our VW camper van for two nights, and whilst exploring Norfolk's north coast we came across stunning Holkham Bay and it's amazing beach. We drove to the beach cafe car park from Wells Next The Sea, you can also walk the mile or two from Queen Anne's Drive opposite Holkham Hall. There is plentiful parking in... More

This is the most wonderful beach if you don't mind walking. You park your car on Lady Anne's drive at Holkham (very busy in high season) and walk from there along a board walk to a short flight of steps to the main beach area. The beach is vast! A wonderful expanse of golden sand but the sea (if the... More

A great walk from Wells beach cafe at one end to The Vic at the other. Along the beach then back through the woods.

Stayed on the Norfolk coast for half term with my family and our 14 month American Cockapoo. Discovered Holkham beach, which was absolutely perfect for dogs. The beach stretched for miles. Our dog loved it and we thoroughly enjoyed watching him being so happy. You can do a circular walk from Holkham beach to Wells where you will find a... More

This is one of my favourite beaches, dogs allowed to the left but not to the right, so everyone is happy. Walk for miles, see for miles and dogs can just run and run. All very organised with doggie bags, and plenty of bins.
