Lovely setting , well worth a visit . Beware though as half way through long green route the track passes through a field and you quickly find yourself knee deep in cow dung for about 100 yards as you pass between ring feeders , stinking bogs either side , shoes and bikes going to stink forever more. Used to live... More

Visited on a wet November day but it was so beautiful with the two rivers full of water. I saw a fish jumping up the river. So very peaceful and quiet. Lots of chaffinches eating the nuts and food.

What can I say, nobody likes paying for car parking but this place offers an amazing amount of walking and beautiful scenery. Nice well organised paths and a lot of historically important features, would need a few visits to get the best from it.

Lovely place for walking and MTB.We did the Big Country Trail, it says 32 miles but we made it 39 at the end,we chose to do this on a hot day (bad idea). Its not the milage of the track as 39 miles is not too far but it was the ongoing steep hills on granite rocks and stones on the... More

Set off with dog on the yellow 5 mile route then decided to include the extra loop around the loch which came I about 11 mile, well worth the walk, stunning scenery round the lock, bearing in mind were the steady Sunday walkers type of people, was tired at the end but so glad we did it, lovely visitor centre... I love this place. Not as technical and exciting as some rides but it's open with beautiful views and a great downhill ride on specially built single track!

Choice of 8k or 58km routes and nothing in between. Great views on the big country route, but bear in mind it's a proper all day commitment. We took 7 hours.
