Been waiting to visit here for a long time. The wildlife hide was wonderful, lovely to see all the birds and squirrels. Vey helpful staff in the café when I had trouble with the parking ticket machine. Thank you. We got a bit lost on one of the walks and we had to ask for some local people for directions.... More

If you're staying In newton Stewart, this ride is only 5 minutes drive away. There's some good routes,we did the red and black and they were decent. Not sure if I'd go back and ride it though. The staff in the bike shop were pleasant and helpful also.

Like much of Scotland this is very well organised. We came with our bikes and found that there were numerous tracks depending on how much you wanted to test yourself. England needs to take a leaf out of Scotland's book.

Loads of useful and interesting information and a special focus on kids activities. Nice snack bar also. Several good walks with different levels of difficulty and lots for mountain bikers.

I've reviewed the trails here before,(they're excellent), so this time I thought I'd say something about the café. Normally when I come here I've ridden the trails and I'm halfway home before the café is open, but the darker mornings meant a later start for me and my riding buddy, so we had the chance to refuel before we headed... We did the 5 mile blue walk. Well signposted and the views of the loch and the surrounding hills are spectacular

In a dark sky park, the kirroughtree centre has a cafe, cycle shop, visitor centre, toilets & showers. I was road & mountain bike cycling which was excellent, quiet roads & multiple trails of different levels.
