Parked in Gullane Bents car park (£2 all day so good value). Did a 2.75 mile walk which involved beach, woods, golf area and the village. Not strenuous but very enjoyable. Fully recommend.

This beach is our family's favorite. A beautiful walk through Gullane followed by a trek through to the beach, which ends with breathtaking views. The kids love everything about it. Such a jewel in East Lothian.

This is a long wide sandy beach protected by dunes. It is very clean and obviously very popular with visitors and locals.

Myself and family of 6 enjoyed a great afternoon at Gullane Beach. The children (20,16,11,7) all got in the sea. Pretty cold but they enjoyed it immensely. We did a mini olympics on the beach. The views are great. The scenery is excellent. Even the...More

Took the dog for a walk along the beach and she enjoyed it. It's a steep walk down from the car park area, but not too bad. Lovely views across the Forth to Fife.

As a family we always love a trip to this brilliant beach. Only a half hour drive from Edinburgh this is an easily accessible place to visit. The car park always has plenty room, unfortunately East Lothian Council are cashing in and there is a...More

Lots of parking but a steep walk to the beech. Not ideal for the old or wheel chairs but doable if fit. The coastal path goes all the way round the coast from here to Dirleton and on.

We did this coastal walk recently, having first checked the times of the high and low tides. We took the bus from Edinburgh to North Berwick, as we planned to have lunch and a drink at the end of the walk, and catch a bus...More

Beautiful beach front with a lovely trail along the east coast. Cleanest part of the beach on the east coast I have seen.

The toilets are on the left hand side of the car park. 2 min walk from the beach. Very clean, with toilet paper etc. The car park cost £2 per day which I think pays off thinking about the recycling bins, clean toilets etc.

Unsure plenty of parking space but there is a barrier. The nearby seton sands or cockenzie are better suited for this.
