Took 40 people to Marlwood G&C for a Christmas Lunch. We were a bit concerned as we had heard some bad reviews and mentioned this to the owner when giving final numbers. She assured us that we had nothing to worry about and would make sure our event was successful. Everything was as promised. Lots of food, food was delicious,... More

The golf course is in very poor condition. The sand traps are unplayable, the greens are poor. The course is poorly maintained.

We held our son's wedding at Marlwood Golf and Country Club. The ceremony took place by the lake and was beautiful as a setting. Inside the room was so elegant and had a buffet people raved about, and a nice large dance area. They went out of their way for us and would recommend this to anyone who wants a... More

Arrived with 60 club members for a Roast Beef dinner. The plates and roast beef and sides were cold. They do not use warmers for their buffet. The beef was gray in colour and was obviously not cooked on premises but packaged elsewhere. The potatoes were very lumpy and the mixed veggies were over cooked and mushy. Desserts were stale... Played Oct. 8th 2016. Took a chance with the weather and the course. Last time there in early summer the course was in poor condition. Tee areas worn and hard, fairways were hard and bare in a lot of areas. Greens were in decent shape but again hard , not very receptive to approach shots . This time out the... More

Worst experiences we have ever had. No originiization, they had a tournament that was so far behind you had to wait for the players sitting in their carts in the parkingessional lot drinking to come in so you got a cart. If you know you are hosting a tournament rent extra carts. Don't even think of playing on a weekend.... More

$60 plus with cart. Should not be over $30. It is a beach course, so no expectations. Don't bother with the dirt traps, some gimmicky holes, flat and not very fun to play. Go somewhere else.

Myself and three others were completely soaked by the sprinklers while putting on the tenth green. No notice whatsoever. Wallets, clubs, phones all the usual things that most people bring with them these days in 2016 were soaked. When it was brought to the owner, Sandy's attention we were met with "it's golf etiquette to not have your phone on... More

Went golfing with my son inlaw, last August. The course was okay but was neglicted before the new owners took over in May 2015, so my expectations were not high considering. I hope that this year the bunkers will be fixed as it is really hard to hit out of clay /sand. The course is a very old and challenging... More
