The quarry is a must see, simply breathtaking and amazing. Don't neglect seeing the crater on the other side of the quarry.

We never got tired of seeing these statues, if they were still pushed over or restored. There is nothing else like them elsewhere in the world. We had plenty of time to see everything

The quarry - on the sides of a crater. Moai half buried in the hillside so you can get far closer views of their faces. And so many of them - amazing.

This is one of the highlighted must see when on Easter Island. There are many moais in various stages of being built. Appears frozen in time. Do not miss this when on the island.
