what an incredible sight. you look down into what once was a active volcano. you will want to walk right down to the middle of it. (but don't!) it's spectacular since it sits right next to the water too. you can imagine what the original...More

This extinct volcano is perched right alongside the ocean and is quite spectacular. It also has examples of the ancient stone dwellings

Easter Island is made up of volcanoes. This one is very austere and I climbed up to the top crater. Great view, though I felt a bit precarious on top. Try not to go on a windy day.
