This is a great area for experiencing a wild Africa. Take your time. We stayed at Third Bridge and North Gate before heading to Savuti (Chobe). Preferred North Gate (Kwai).

Fabulous family holiday at South Gate camp although not for the faint-hearted! Hyenas are regular camp 'guests' plus elephant and antelope/ zebra. Means keeping a close watch on kids (4 aged 8-12). But beautiful! Highly recommend the boat trip at sunset. Camp staff must be...More

Incredible & breath taking in the winter months; 4.5hrs morning safari rides and 3.5hrs in the afternoon with morning tea and sunset drinks in scouted spots.

A lovely game park with quite a variety of habitats. The water levels can effect access to some areas and also the quality of the tracks, so prepared for a potentially bumpy ride. You can do self drive safaris here and there are also several...More

There are so many animals here, especially elephants. You can get really close to them. The roads are confusing and if there is water, you have to detour, which makes it more confusing.

I used a local company in Maun, Safaris. They were great with all the above. Mokoro can be done from Maun as well as day trips or budget camping trips to the neighbouring game parks.

Hi Roz, I'm interested to know if you went in the end and, if you did, how was it for you in this respect? Any tips for making things more comfortable?
