We spent an hour and a half at the mine with Rick as our guide. He was so fun and made the tour very informative and entertaining. I learned so much about crystals and rocks, etc. that my head was spinning! There were a lot of crystals to see and touch and we even took an old army truck down... More

We came here for my birthday I didn't know on your birthday you get to dig for free so that was a plus! We got the ziplining package too. It was a windy day so I got stuck on the zipline . We found lots of Quartz , had a lot of fun, and got real dirty. If you come... More

Our second time to visit the mine and dig for crystals. We found more than enough. Caretaker was very friendly and let us know which areas had been overturned that morning. Sunscreen is a must!!!! Hats, sturdy shoes, and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Bring your own tools or rent from the caretaker

This is our third visit within the last 5 years to Arkansas just to dig and sweat in the dirt at Ron Coleman's Mine! My husband and I had such a great experience this year finding many many beautiful BIG crystals! The crew brought up three truck loads of fresh dirt this first day we where there! So we went... Office/Gift Shop very clean and uncluttered. I was a little taken aback by the form we had to sign and initial all the things we were not allowed to do. Not throw rocks? Obviously this had been a problem at some time. I threw rocks yesterday at another mine. It felt really good. And you can't break up rocks, but... More

Well we can check crystal mining off of the block. Been there done that. After years if talking about going ti the crystal mine we finally made the trip. If you like digging in the dirt and mud with the sun beating down on you this is the place. Just don't expect to find any crystal that of the size... More

Items for sale and on display in the shop are interesting as is the mine itself but digging in the dirt for 3 hours in the slim hope of finding a decent crystal left me tired and disappointed. If you're into that you'll enjoy it more. Facility is well run and the staff pleasant.

We have been here twice and have been to a couple other spots around the area this has provided the best crystals. That said summer is nearly dangerous due to the heat. This is a business so they are working the mine during the week come early during the week and you can see where they are dropping the new... More

Staff were super friendly, and we'll definitely go again (hopefully not in July)! Bring lots of water. We brought our own tools, they provided us with bags to hold our findings.
