Would be better if you wouln't be one of the hundreds people on the spot in the same time. The train cimetery is the first stop of all excursions, so you are going to visit the place with almost all tourists ans backpackers of Uyuni. Cool but not that charming. Go there alone when the sun goes to bed :)

Most tour companies make a short stop at the train cemetery before heading to Salar de Uyuni. It's really just a bunch of old, rusting trains that have been spray painted on, but it can be a great place to work on your photography skills. Bring some friends to be your models and get creative!

It's a nice stop over to see all the decommissioned trains and wrecks. Lots of great spot to take photos.

Just outside the city, lots of light and rusty trains. A pity that all trains are tagged with ugly drawings or words

The old trains are beautiful and have kept some mystery. But the place is small and full of tourists. This cemetery is part of the uyuni 3 days tour.

We have been to Uyuni twice and the train cemetery three times. Our first time we got a cab off the street for 1 hour which I think we paid 50bs for. We were at the train cemetery at sunset and it was stunning! We were the only people there and the pictures we got were amazing. The next day... More

Something really ethereal about the forgotten trains in such a desolate landscape, a great stop for taking lots of pictures. So well worth stopping at.

Fun place to climb on trains and take pictures. Unfortunately every tour starts here at the same time and it's next to imposible to get a picture of the train tracks without a bunch of people. If you have the chance to come at another time of the day it's well worth it.
