We needed to get from San Pedro to the atacama and had been worried about the trip across as internet reviews said it was difficult to do it that way. Don't be put off though, there are loads of companies that offer the Uyuni trip in San Pedro and you can easily fly/bus to la Paz after. It seems like... More

We did our Uyuni salt flat tour with World White Travel and they were absolutely excellent. Our guide Jorge spoke very little English but despite the language barrier he was extremely safe, professional and patient and he looked after us extremely well. The scenery, sights and landscapes are out of this world. Three days of spectacular panoramas in every direction!... More

We traveled a long way to see the Uyuni Salt Flats in February. I read a lot of reviews to try and find the best tour company and I decided to book Perla de Bolivia through Kanoo Tours. We met up with our guide Joseph and our driver Santos to explore the world’s largest salt flat. It is 12,106 sq... More

There are good tours a d not so good tours. I was in the latter (guide was cranky/silent, we did not visit Fish Island), but at least the group was priceless! Bring flipflops in rainy season when parts of the Salar are like a (wet) mirror. Ask your guide to find more pristine places (ours stayed near the 4x4 tracks).... More

We booked the 3 days tour from Uyuni to San Pedro de Atacama via a different agency, but the one organizing and running the tour was Andrea Tours. The ticket we had bought included everything except park entrances. However, when we arrived at the border in the last day, we had to pay the transport to San Pedro again. They... More

We went on the Uyuni Tour with Luna Dorada, which has its office in San Pedro. Obviously, as everyone already wrote, the tour itself is amazing! The landscape is hard to beat! Unfortunately though, we cannot recommend Luna Dorada, since they just promised us things they couldn’t keep and when confronted with what went wrong acted very unprofessional Reasons to... More
