The blowholes were beautiful and spectacular on the day we went. The waves were not very large, but the spray from the blowholes went high and wide. Terrific! On a sunny day at about mid-tide, the view was excellent.

We visited the blowholes by rental car - fairly easy to find and a nice surprise as we weren't sure what to expect. Great natural beauty and nothing else there (i.e. not overdeveloped)

A great experience to visit this powerful display of nature. We were there by ourselves, then quickly the place filled up. A popular spot for locals and visitors alike.

Just wow. Spectacular beyond words, looking up the coast all errupting in spray and boom. Not sure what the tide was but if it's not spectacular, go back another time.

To be fair, I'm not sure what I expected- perhaps a blow hole or two. But there are quite a few that stretch along a distance of the coast. Mesmerising to sit and watch the big sets pull in. A few locals selling souvenirs of...More

I could have spent hours here. We were lucky enough to see a couple of sea turtles from the viewing platform. But walking further down we were amazed at the formations of the hundreds of blowholes. Definitely worth a visit...

We visited Huoma as part of a coach tour of the island. We had no idea what to expect, however hearing that there were literally hundreds of blowholes made it appealing. They are called the Chief’s Whistles, about 6km of blowholes along the coast. The...More
