HOW TO DO IT? You can easily bypass he exorbitant prices offered by the lodges and agencies. The standard price range offered by providers is 680-900p (68 - 90USD). If we (a couple) did our overnight trip with our lodge, we would have paid 360USD....More

As part of our tour, we took a speed boat 1.5hrs up the river to our houseboat....our accommoadtion for two nights. Saw lots of birdlife, wildlife etc and think this was one of the best ways to experience the river.

I did a sunset cruise on the river saw lots of animals. Hippies, crocodile, elephants and birds. The guide did some explaining but over all the river was relaxing and sunset was great

I honestly love our Thamalakane river. It's beautiful and you just can't tired of its beauty. Watch out for the hippopotamus and crocodiles now and then.

Planet baobab very good food great , visit gweta lodge 5 km West .great bar friendly people, Maun,go to old bridge backpackers if only for a meal and drinks great vibe.
