One of the nature wonders. Untouched by human. You can visit and explore in many ways. From the air, boat or simply walk. You can camp for few days somewhere in the Delta or stay in one of the many lodges on the river banks. Various operators based in Maun are happy to arrange for you, whatever activity you wish... we have spent three days along okavango river... we have seen it from the sky (by plane), on the boat, on the mokoro... it's fantastic!

We were on and next to the Okavango river for 5 days. (2days at Shakawe region in Botswana and 3days near Divundu in the Namibian Caprivi region) We went on 2 boat cruises and also went on a few safari trips next to the river. Saw the greatest sun rises and sunsets. The river is full of hippos and Crocodiles... More

My wife and I went on the 6 day tented camp safari, a good mixture of walking and boating all birds and animals were identified along with tracks where needed comfortable tents with shower tents and toilets meals were all high standard with fresh baked bresd daily unforgettable trip Jim Sellers

A unique environment to see many wonder full animals and experience fishing for the amazing Tiger Fish. Elephants, Hippo's , Fish Eagles , Crocs are all easy to see.

We have had a wonderfull trip with 'Walking Stick Travel Tours' in the Okavango Delta. Filemon and his staff are very nice, responsible and attentive; they really want you to have an unforgettable trip. Take a mokoro tour with friends and see hipps and crododiles close by. Chose your poler well and you learn a lot.

An experience not to be missed the Delta is pure and simply magical it is a place you dream of, the silence, the elephants, the Hippos, the journey of self discovery - I will return

the river flows through the town Maun. Lots of lodges and restaurants are build on the riverside. There or on a boat cuise you can see fantastic sunsets
