A very disappointing place. I wanted to see some birds but the lake was quite empty. Some hippos here and there. Also quite dirty. Since some years there are also no flamingoes. The lake is to sweet.

Its a good cool quiet place next to the lake with lots of hippos, birds and monkeys. We enjoyed our stay there, the staff were helpful even in setting up our own tents and their prices are very friendly. A good place for a weekend...More

Can get cold and rainy in the evenings. It's beautiful and green. You can have a boat ride and there is a restaurant and you can even camp there.

This is another one of the beautiful nature attractions in Kenya. If you have a trip plan to Nairobi, don't forget to put it inside your plan.

Got to see lots of animals and birds at the lake, including the hippos. Suggest to go slightly before sunset time so you can also see the amazing sunset view on the boat.

I can recommend to go on a boatsafari on Lake Oloidien in the morning or evening. You can see a lot of animals, it's relaxing and cheap.
