Very nice experience

Even the animals were introduced in the 80's the chance to walk close to then is incredible. Cost 30 $ and you have to do the visit with the ranger

I viusited this island before a safari in Tanzania. It was nice to be close to the few animals I was able to see but I had honestly hoped for a livelier experience. The landscape was nice abnd scenery was great especially areas where Lake Naivasha could be seen. However animals were relatively few. I was able to see a... More

We really enjoyed Crescent Island. There are lots of animals to see and its lovely, as well as peaceful, to be able to walk amongst them. The lady who runs the place is really friendly and interesting. Well worth a visit.

The island is nice, though not much animals but it is still good to visit. We went there for 3 hours and that's enough to enjoy the place.

In case you have a trip to Masai Mara for two nights try to squeeze a third one just for this secret but well kept island, you will benefit. This place could be reached... More

While not a true wilderness, crescent island is still rather neat with the opportunity to walk among wildebeest, gazelles, zebras and giraffe in the open plains. Getting close will be hard as they tend to run off so not much photo opportunities without a telephoto. As it is basically a hill with open plain, not much in terms of trail... More

Just amazing to be walking amongst the Giraffes, so grateful. The boat ride over to the hippo's was incredible and so many birds.

We paid $30US per person (there were four of us). We were then expected to give the guide some money. There is a sign to say 'Guides are free, but you are welcome to give them a tip.' We were told later that they are very poorly paid. Initially we were met by the a woman who was very condescending... More

Very pleasant and funny to walk among the animals! Zebras, Giraffes and all other not "big five" animals. Funny for children.
