We walked with a large family giraffes and zebras! It was an incredible experience to come into such close contact with wildlife.

Quite the ambience.. serene... and the mere thought of walking around the place with the wild animals not caged was great... key to note there are presence of apparently free guides whom u dnt even get to see. Let down in that perspective

You can get to crescent island by boat or by driving through sanctuary farm. If diving, just plan a lunch or dinner at sanctuary farm, and walk around for much the same wild life experience without the crescent island ticket price.

We came here at the end of the day for an hour's walk and bought our tickets at the ticket office (the house) and walked up to the entrance which was about 30 minutes walk from where our car was parked. When we arrived there, we were asked for our resident passes which we didn't all have with us. As... More

The sun is extremely strong and because you are on the boat or on the "island" with the wind constantly blowing you will not feel it until it is too late. There is no safari quite like it. There are... More

I viusited this island before a safari in Tanzania. It was nice to be close to the few animals I was able to see but I had honestly hoped for a livelier experience. The landscape was nice abnd scenery was great especially areas where Lake Naivasha could be seen. However animals were relatively few. I was able to see a... More

We really enjoyed Crescent Island. There are lots of animals to see and its lovely, as well as peaceful, to be able to walk amongst them. The lady who runs the place is really friendly and interesting. Well worth a visit.
