A truly Magnificent and mesmerizing view . Art by nature at its finest. The steps of the valley colored in red shades sets one’s mind back to some bygone prehistoric era. Truly poetic and refreshing just to behold the panoramic view. A must see place not to be missed.

When you go there it has a really nice view and is really impressive. If you want you can ask one of the poeple avaible at one of the viewing sites to do walk with them. It is possible to descend nto the gorges and do a hike. The restaurant at the last viewing point is not open any more,... More

I have found this place in tripadviser. Since i did not speak french at all, i took a taxi and went to see what was there. It is amazing place if you have just half of the day to relax. Everything is very close: ocean, forest, restaurant! The food at the restaurants is unique and extremely good! What is more... More

I visited the gorge on 15th March 2015. It is a beautiful scenery, very greenish and has plenty of fresh air. You can also see the ocean from the top of the gorge. Ideal for picnic. There are no hotels or washroom facilities at the Gorge site. Its located next to a small village.

We visited the Gorges of Diosso two weeks ago. It was a beautiful place with great views. There were some kids walking around, but we were there with some local friends so they didn't border us. It is certainly not a good idea to give them a lot of dollars. It is also a game to see how far they... More

We had a great experience in the Gorges. Got dropped off at the top by one of the crew on the ship (Atlantic Mercy) and started to walk down the trail. As we proceeded down we lost the track, most likely because it had been washed away by the rain. After half an hour another group came to the same... More

This isn't the most exciting thing in the world to see, however if staying in Pointe Noire - it doesnt hurt to check one more thing off the list. These are natural formations that are nice to look at - surrounded by wild greens and manned by local kids. Most taxis would bluff by telling you that it is impossible... More

There are two scenic overlooks at the Diosso Gorge that can be accessed by car. One is smaller, accessed by dirt road, but provides a nice view of the gorge. The larger one, closer to paved road also provides a nice view, but has a makeshift barrier partially in place that you must drive through. There are no signs and... More

This gorge not far from Pointe Noire is worth visiting. There are young kids who will ask for a small payment before you can access the spectacular view, and are willing to to act as guides if you want to descend or climb into the gorge ( not recommended unless you have climbing experience or are used to rough terrain)....
