The mseum has a number of interesting displays and even my kids were interested. There is some work being done around the outside display area and... More

Reinet house was undergoing some renovations, which is good to see. It is always interesting visiting museums etc as you get a feel for an area or place.

Very beautiful indeed, we spent more than 1 hour exploring the place and plungiing into the ancient world of Orange colons in this valley. The yard behind was very nice and interestng, full of ancient pieces in very good conditions. Surprisingly we were the only visitors to the museum.

This museum is well worth a visit. Full of interesting information about the family that lived in the house and also the history of Graaf Reinet. Spend a couple of hours here.

Interesting place that gives a great opportunity to discover how it was to live in a place as lovely as Graaff-Reinet. About an hour is a minimum to visit house and gardens at ease.

I enjoyed this museum. It is a main floor, cellar, and wagon house and is full of interesting antiques spanning many aspects of life in the past 150 years from corsets to dentistry. My favorite was a doll house made from porcupine quills! It takes about an hour to look in all the rooms and the 25 rand admission was... More

Visited The reinet Huis, one has to take time to really appreciate all of the history, could be better if a person was available to take one on a tour through the house and highlight some articles
