This is the main area in Gulmarg where we have lots of snow and related activities. Activities like snow-sledding, cycle, skiing and motor-bike. Snow-jackets and snow boots are needed. Pls also carry sun-screen (we were majorly burnt on our faces due to the sun & reflection). One needs to actively negotiate for prices eventhough guidelines are given - we did... More

The Peak remains snow covered and has mind-blowing view of the Pir Panjal range. As we trekked amidst the snow, we realized the power of nature. As one sits to contemplate, one realizes how insignificant man is in this Universe..... The peak is accessible by the second phase of the Gondola. It is less crowded as most people stop at... More

Barring the Gondola which in itself is mismanaged, the view is to die for. Vast overlooking Kashmir valley, Baramullah and the LoC. Bargain hard on the top for the Gum Boots, Jackets etc. but prefer to carry your own

We stayed at the peak for an hour , could see the clouds changing colour and they sun was Bright n clear . It was windy but good windy. Since we went there in the time of snow fall , so cd feel rapid change in weather . It was serene and out of the world experience .

This is the highest point on earth that I have ever visited (more than 14000 ft above sea level). It can be reached by Phase 2 of Gandola. We spent more than an hour over there and enjoyed a lot. You DON'T need any guide or helper over there. Just a pair of boots will be sufficient.

WE have to take two gondolas to reach the top from where you can climb to the roof of the mountain, there is a frozen lake beyond from where you can see the LOC ,

This place is absolute heaven.. A white carpet of snow and dark blue skies is what you will see here. It is very beautiful and peaceful here. A must visit place in lifetime.

As we were reaching Gulmarg we could see the Snow Clad Mountains in front of us , as the roads were perfect and so was the journey . It took us one hour and fifteen minutes to reach Gulmarg from Srinagar. Apharwat peak is quite cold and you will see a lot of snow over there , but during our... More
