These temples are extraordinary. You can wander for days and barely begin to see all of what's here. These temples are actively being used by locals and you're free to respectfully roam. Beautiful, moving, exceptional.

After the disappointment of not getting to see the pagodas from hot air balloon as there was no wind, the horse and cart ride almost made up for it. We spent a good couple of horse riding around the circuit and seeing some of the...More

This is a unique area with more temples than you can count... Plan 2 or better 3 days to stay there. Start in the early morning at sunrise. The sun is more beautiful than later, and above all the climate becomes unbearably hot and dry...More

Uncredible amount of stupas, over 3000 on 40 square kilometres! Very impressive. Lots of tourists, but still peaceful. Many people on the hunt for THE sunset photo. Groups of E-bike tourists all over the place. Beautiful Laeckerware products of outstanding quality!

Bagan is by far the best place that I have visited in Myanmar. Renting a ebike make you free to discover all the temples and beautiful places hidden around the city. Use maps.me to find not touristic places with amazing views!!!!

Ok so people complaining about the renovations and the restrictions to climb on certain pagodas because of the 2016 earthquake must have overlooked the x thousand other pagodas. I mean sure some of the best places to see the sunset or sunrise were closed due...More

I spent 2 days exploring the temple complex in Old Bagan. It is absolutely one of my favorite travel experiences so far. I stayed nearby and rented an e-bike for the 2 days, it's basically an electronic scooter. It was in my opinion the best...More

Hire an electric scooter for a day or week and meander between the temples. Early morning and late afternoons are a treat. Stay in the Old Town, not new Town (no atmosphere). Lovely restaurants in Old Town as well, do go!

Because of Philippines passport holder, you have 14 days visa free to visit Myanmar. September is also good time to visit Bagan neither too hot nor cold. And also you can get cheap price for hotel rooms.
