I had thought that this would be kinda like the museum I visited in Manila but it was really just a small museo. The lady (can she be called a curator if she only takes care of a small museum?) taking care of the place, opened up the air conditioning for us and left us to our own devices, would... More

Unfortunately, for a city that can trace back its history to thousands of years ago, there is nothing much in display. To make your trip in this part of the city worthwhile visit the following nearby place of interest: 1. St. Augustine Cathedral - Historical Site 2. Gaston Park - Historical Site 3. LaTigola - Authentic Italian Restaurant

The museum is in a tower across from Gaston Park. As is sometimes the case, many of the locals did not know it existed. There is no admission fee but they do accept donations. There are 3 floors of exhibits ranging from Chinese trade pottery, pictures from WWII and also paintings from local artists. The curator was on-hand and she... More

Pieces of history and information were limited. I suggest that they should improve more on the historical research.
