This to me was the best night market compared to Shilin and Raohe. Locals come here to eat, very few tourists can be seen. Even the signages and menus have no englsh translation. Keelung is a port, about an hour bus ride from Taipei and so the food is mainly from the waters. We came here from our trip to... More

Unlike the tourist night market we visited in Taipei, this one feels truly authentic. We found a street stall selling sea food (fish, shrimp, lobster) and did not regret it. We'll go back for the roast meat stall one day.

Food here is very yummy and affordable! There is good mix of both japanese, chinese and taiwanese delicacies! Must-try taiwanese meatball which is like a siopao-sized dimsum! Make sure to have space in your stomach so you can try different delicacies! Nice to visit after jiufen old street.

We went there for two nights and there are still so many stalls that we hadn't had a chance to try. Very crowded and we had to queue for the popular stalls (16,36,22, BBQ crabs, sandwiches,...) Many recommended the ice blend but we find it just acceptable.

I wish I had a big stomach to try all the delicious food there. I stopped after taking 6 nice dishes because i felt so full. This is best night food market. Nice to walk around and see people happy eating.

Stall holders were extremely friendly and hospitable. They will provide cutlery based on the no. of pax, even if you are a family of four, while ordering only two servings.

A local friend picks me and my friend up and then we pick up another local friend and before long the four of us are hurtling down the freeway to Keelung. It's raining, windy and cold for this time of year, what my mother used to call 'Perfect eating weather' and it is! Ok. The big tip about going here... More

I haven't visited this place in a decade and it has developed into a real foodie paradise. The variety and taste of its food offerings os impressive. Better than Taipei's Shiling night market. Still extremely crowded, but as long as you are patient, there's is good food to be had.

Yes, the seafood is good since Keelung City is by the water. I saw Anthony Bourdain visit here, so of course, I had to go since I'm a big fan:) This is my 3rd trip to Taiwan in 3 years. Honestly, the food is tasty and cheap in the night markets all over Taiwan. And the fact that you're eating... More

We were recommended to go there for dinner by our host in Jiufen to go have dinner there to see the atmosphere. We took a pram there and didn't have too much problem moving it, we had a simple 4 wheel stroller but I would have prefered using a 3 wheel jogger for ease of pushing through uneven grounds. There...
