you can take long walks on the beach in relative safety. The locals occasionally try to sell stuff, but they are all nice.

Juan Dolio Beach is an excellent beach for those who like peaceful walk on the beach. This beach is clean and is not crowded, it is safe and the water is just right.

Clean white sand and warm turquoise waters... honestly, what more can you ask for? Vendors will try to sell you cigars, sarongs, and massages but they were super friendly and not aggressive like I've seen in other places.
