Followed the advise of a park ranger and took a easy hike where we found the ruins. The scenery and sounds were relaxing.

Located in Blanchard Springs National Park, this old mill was described to me to have been in ope action beginning in the late 1800's and finally closing in the 1940's when the land was sold to the National Park service. What a thrill to see and touch the walls of history. Located just in front of a beautiful waterfall and... More

My family and I had no idea this was here, right next to the waterfall and we took tons of pictures to remember it by.

In addition to the cavern, we made the trek to the Spring and Old Mill. Not much to see but the stone walls. Reading the informative signs helps but I wouldn't go out of my way in the winter.

Very cool spot to take photos. Nice shaded area to access the stream at the bottom of the falls. The mill is a great place to stop and cool off during the heat of the summer.

The storyboard is informative and is on the boardwalk way above the site. The viewing location is a great place to view the entire project and see and understand all aspects of the project. I wish they would be able to assemble the working parts of the mill to demonstrate the operation. Unfortunately the construction was ended when WWII began... More

While visiting the caverns we stopped by mirror lake and saw that you could follow the wooden walkway to the left and eventually get down to the creek below. It was great to actually see up close the mill and waterfall. It is slippery so bring good walking shoes. It was worth it.

Good place for kids & adults to explore. The trail is short & very easy to walk down. It's a long drive to the middle of nowhere but it's definitely worth the drive.

we went to the mirror lake area to see it, we pulled over on the side of the road going out towards the camp area like many other people had done, there is a little stairway that leads down to the little walkway, there is people out there fishing some too, we were able to walk out on it and...
